STREETLIFTINGNO SHORTCUTS.

Weighted strength requires more than adding plates: stable technique, valid range, specific progressions and a workload you can recover from.

Relative strength taken to competition

Streetlifting combines skill, body control and maximal strength. A repetition may fail because of grip, path, depth, transition or because loading progressed faster than technique.

The plan organizes specific exposure, variations and complementary work without turning every session into a test. The goal is to accumulate useful repetitions and be strong when it is time to perform.

For athletes who want to master added weight

The approach changes with the event format, your calisthenics base and whether the goal is competition, maximal strength or a physique combination.

01

Calisthenics base

You control bodyweight repetitions and want to start loading without losing technique.

02

Stalled weighted lifts

Your pull-up or dip numbers stopped moving and every heavy attempt feels the same.

03

Inconsistent muscle-up

You need to separate strength, path and transition instead of relying on a good day.

04

Competition preparation

You want standards, ranges and strategy compatible with your event.

What Streetlifting training develops

Specificity matters, but so does keeping shoulders, elbows, grip and recovery healthy through demanding blocks.

  1. 01Weighted pull-up: start, path, chin and control.
  2. 02Weighted dip: depth, stability and drive.
  3. 03Muscle-up: pull, trajectory, transition and efficiency.
  4. 04Squat when it belongs to the selected event format.
  5. 05Grip, scapular work and accessories with real transfer.
  6. 06Peaking and load selection for valid attempts.

How your plan is built

I do not start with a template. I start by understanding your current level, the context in which you train and what needs to change for sustainable progress.

  1. 01

    Assessment

I review experience, schedule, equipment, training history, technique and current obstacles.

  2. 02

    Objectives

We define specific, realistic priorities so every block has a clear direction.

  3. 03

    Programming

I design volume, intensity, frequency and exercise selection around your real life.

  4. 04

    Explanation

I explain why the plan is structured this way, how to execute it and what data to record.

  5. 05

    Follow-up

I review videos, performance and feedback, then adjust before a small issue becomes a plateau.

A system for moving more weight

Specific progressions

Heavy exposures, technical volume and variations based on your weak point.

Video feedback

Corrections for range, path and control in real working repetitions.

Joint-aware loading

Exercise selection and dosage consider shoulder, elbow and grip tolerance.

Meet preparation

Validity standards, warm-ups and strategy adapted to the competition format.

Numbers built in the sport

Nahuel has competed in Streetlifting since 2018 and won Streetlifting Alphadark -80 kg in 2025. His Final Rep personal bests reflect direct experience with the technical and physical demands of the sport.

Online Streetlifting questions

01Should I master pull-ups and dips before adding weight?

A solid bodyweight base is recommended. If it is not there yet, the plan can build it before prioritizing external load.

02Do you coach muscle-ups as well?

Yes. It can be trained as a competitive event or a skill by separating the components limiting the repetition.

03Can I combine Streetlifting with gym training?

Yes. Programming integrates accessories and physique work without unnecessarily competing with priority movements.

04Does this work if I do not want to compete?

Yes. The same method can improve relative strength, technique and personal records without a competition calendar.

05What equipment do I need?

A stable pull-up bar, dip bars and a safe way to add weight. Everything else adapts to the available equipment and event format.
